Dismissing prognosticators who claimed that the Dodgers had superior pitching, the Baltimore Orioles put on a mound clinic of their own during the 1966 World Series, holding their opponents to two runs for the entire series and blanking them altogether over the final three games and 33 innings. Encapsulated and Graded EX 5 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Baltimoreís Memorial Stadium for Game 3 of that one-sided Fall Classic. In the first-ever postseason game played in Baltimore, Orioles starter Wally Bunker fired a six-hit shutout, receiving all of the offensive support he would need as teammate Paul Blair homered in the 5th inning. The lone specimen at its tier with only three graded higher, this crisp voucher features printed seating/event details, an image of the 33rd Street palace and strong perforations. A scarce and pristine survivor from a glorious era in Charm City sports!
