Fighting for honor and glory on both the battlefield and gridiron, the Army Ambulance Corps and Camp Meade Officers squared off in Reading, PA on November 24, 1917 to decide the enlisted services football championship. This banner is a regal decoration displayed as the rivals exchanged “friendly fire” on that blustery afternoon. Measuring 17-1/2 x 22-3/4”, the blue felt item has a “316th INF.” Logo badge and is attached to a 23-1/4”-long wooden bar via (3) canvas ringlets. Blue fringe accents this pristine World War I relic.
