NOTE: We have modified this description from the printed catalog to reflect that the identical red and green pennants are from 1954; not 1948 (thanks Lawrence)

While Cleveland Indians fans have endured one of the longest championship droughts in American sports, these (3) vintage full-size felt pennants have survived more the half a century with ties to the club’s AL conquest! Includes: (2) 1954 “American League Champs” classified as “Rare” in Mike Egner’s 2013 Vintage Pennant Price Guide II (one red with original tassels; one green with tassels partially torn; appliqué 100% on both); and a 1940s version with very minimal appliqué cracking.

Note: the (2) 1954 examles are of identical design (one red, one green) and each feature a "Chief Wahoo" applique design with "American League Champs" in crack-free white applique. To the left, a baseball design features a listing of names that includes: Avila, Doby, Feller, Garcia, Hegan, Lemon, Rosen, Smith, Wertz and Wynn
