There are no regrets for a career that produced 4,256 hits, three batting titles, six pennants and three World Series crowns. But for Pete Rose, sorrow lingers over extracurricular activities that may or may not have compromised the integrity of the game. These (2) OML baseballs are autographed by the all-time hit king with inscriptions admitting to the “crime” for which he has been forever banned from the game he so thoroughly defined. One is snow-white (grade “10”) and signed in blue ballpoint (“10” strength); and one is mildly toned (grade “8”) and signed in black ballpoint (“9-10” strength). Each is inscribed (on a side panel) “I’m Sorry I Bet on Baseball.”
