Fierce competitors throughout their respective careers, (24) heralded Hall of Famers gathered to autograph this baseball. The clean and creamy OAL MacPhail orb (grade “9-10”) dates to 1974-1975. A flawless surface, vibrant red laces and prominent trademark stampings are mere precursors to bold blue ballpoint pennings! Many resonate (“10”) potency and while a few have endured very minor ink migration, the autographs all project at least (“7”) strength and clarity. Note: As mentioned above, the trademark stampings date to 1974-1975, but a handwritten notation of “1974” on the west panel lends credence to the possibility that this keepsake was signed at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring Mantle and Ford.
