Quickly approaching 150 career home runs at the tender age of 24, Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton employed this Louisville Slugger (31.3-oz/34”) “H281” block-letter model weapon during the 2014 season. The uncracked hickory lumber features a cupped end, a flare knob, a black finish and gold-colored barrel stampings. Graded GU 8, the bat shows excellent use with ball, cleat and stitch impressions throughout, as well as a light coat of Mora Stick on the handle. Accompanying is a pair of Stanton’s white leather “Nike” batting gloves. Solid use is evident with “27” inscribed on each Velcro wrist fastener and dirt about the palms and fingers. Individual certs/stickers from Hollywood Collectibles.
The bat comes with a full photo LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA. A Getty Images photo from April 27, 2014 shows Stanton using this very bat in a game.
